Seminar on Sept.11th 2001 at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences:
TITEL: HOW DOES THE Silverdal Environment Science Park
FIT INTO THE CLUSTER OF SCIENCE PARKS IN THE STOCKHOLM AREA ?
In september 2000 the Technical Division
of the Royal Academy of Sciences and the Biofocus Foundation (BF:
FIG.1) organized a transdisciplinary seminar aimed at underlining
the significance of values in the choice between various technology
options. The international seminar had the title: The Place
of Value in a World of Change (to review this, choose: seminar
under www.biofocus.org), and it selected a few recycling technologies
for a look back at the seminal Nobel-symposium The Place of
Value in a World of Facts held 30 years earlier. The outcome
of the exercise was so stimulating, that it was decided to set the
sights for an annual transdisciplinary key lecture or
international seminar. In order to prepare for such an event in 2002,
the following seminar was organized with a focus on Swedens
role in the current globali-zation process. The discussions were in
swedish, but an english summary would also be presented
